Born in Lagos, Nigeria. OLUWATAYO ADEYANJU, also known as “EL RIGO tha prodigy”is a diamond in the rough! EL RIGO who is a graduate of Political Science from the University Of Ibadan, hails from Ekiti State and is a writer, spoken word artiste and rapper famously known for his ability to blend indigenous sounds with contemporary Hip-Hop.
Having dropped ‘Baba Alaye’ a mid-tempo afro pop song earlier this year, EL RIGO introduces us to the conscious side of him, as he delves into the scarcely attempted genre of Spoken Word poetry, to deliver what he titles- THE PROGNOSIS
The Prognosis is an artistic compilation of well-constructed lines, carefully knitted into rhyme patterns to deliver not just a pleasant sound, but also convey a conscious message.It is the second single off his upcoming project ‘MODUS VIVENDI the EP’due for release later this year.This poetic piece, Is a deep, insightful material that touches on every sphere of our everyday lives as Nigerians, from politics to religious and social issues which exposes the listeners to things that mattered but were never taken note of.
